The maintenance gate control panel is no longer “occupying the road”, and there are intelligent inspection robots in the substation… As the most important means of transportation for Beijing citizens, Beijing Metro is building a “smart subway”. This afternoon, at the Beijing Metro Employee Innovation Studio and Alliance Work Promotion Conference, 15 innovation achievements of the employee innovation studio and alliance project team and 10 achievements of the youth innovation and creativity competition were displayed on-site, showing the development achievements of the capital’s “smart subway” .

The gate control panel is no longer “occupying the road”

In the subway network, the ticket gate in the station is one of the most used equipment. Every time passengers enter and exit the station, the gate must be opened and closed once, and each component bears a huge operating load. In the gate, the control panel that controls the opening and closing of the gate acts as a “brain”. In the past, when maintenance personnel carried out control panel maintenance, they needed to conduct on-site tests. During the process, they would occupy the gate passage for a long time, which would have a certain impact on passengers entering and leaving the station.

How to avoid occupying the gate channel during the maintenance process? To this end, the inter-professional equipment maintenance project team has developed a “passenger access control panel test device for subway turnstiles”, which greatly improves the maintenance efficiency of subway turnstiles.

At the scene, Ren Zhenyu, the chief engineer of the support and maintenance department of Beijing Metro Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd., demonstrated the test device to reporters. Although it is only the size of a suitcase, this test device can simulate the working environment of an entire turnstile. Maintenance personnel only need to connect the control board to the tester to test the various functions of the control board. “For example, if you put your hand between the infrared sensors, the indicator light on the computer screen will turn red under normal circumstances. If there is a fault, through the information on the computer screen, the maintenance personnel can quickly find the location of the fault point, which is convenient for operation. Maintenance.” Ren Zhenyu introduced that with this test device, it used to take an average of 2 days to repair a control panel independently, but now at least 3 can be repaired a day.

According to reports, this tester was jointly developed by the “inter-professional” project team of the Innovation Studio Alliance. It has been used in the control panel test of the entry and exit gates of 11 lines of the Beijing Metro. While improving the safety and reliability of the equipment, it can be Save a lot of maintenance costs.

Substations have robot inspectors

At the scene, an intelligent inspection robot for the subway power supply system is particularly attractive. Relying on the four wheels at the bottom, the robot can move quickly in the substation, and the two cameras at the top can also move up and down to help inspectors read the meters.

According to Yan Siling, chief engineer of the Beijing Metro Power Supply Branch, this robot can locate and navigate autonomously, and conduct automatic inspections. At the same time, infrared temperature measurement, gas detection, and sound collection equipment are installed to automatically generate reports, analyze data, and warn of abnormal situations in time. At present, two intelligent inspection robots have been deployed in the two substations of Line 10 to conduct inspections 24 hours a day without dead ends, reducing the labor intensity of employees and improving the level of operational safety.

Form an alliance of innovation studios to solve the bottleneck problem

The relevant person in charge of Beijing Metro introduced that Beijing Metro played the role of model workers and craftsmen and carried out the work of employee innovation studios. At present, Beijing Metro has established 1 national-level chief technician studio, 1 municipal-level chief technician studio, 6 municipal-level innovation studios and 26 company-level innovation studios.

In May 2021, Beijing Metro established the first alliance of employee innovation studios in the city’s transportation system, and set up 4 “cross-regional”, “cross-professional” and “cross-enterprise” employee innovation studio alliance project teams, led by model workers and craftsmen. , concentrate superior forces to carry out scientific and technological research. For more than a year, the combination of four alliance projects has solved a number of bottlenecks in the process of vehicle maintenance, power supply and electromechanical, communication signals, and operation services, and has played a significant role in combining strong and complementary advantages. At the same time, Beijing Metro also vigorously carried out youth innovation and creativity competitions and other work to promote a group of young employees to stand out with their independent innovation achievements. In 2021, Beijing Metro will produce a total of 29 independent innovation achievements of employees, 2 of which will be boosted by the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions.
