GAC’s performance in the first three quarters was very impressive.

The report shows that in the third quarter of this year, the company achieved operating income of 31.527 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 51.58% and a month-on-month increase of 24.6%; net profit attributable to the parent was 2.312 billion yuan, an increase of 144.07% year-on-year; non-net profit attributable to the parent was 2.087 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase. An increase of 292.70%.

In the first three quarters of 2022, GAC Group achieved an operating income of 79.976 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 45.10%; a net profit attributable to the parent of 8.062 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 52.59%; and a non-net profit attributable to the parent of 7.728 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 68.87%.

In the third quarter of this year, the demand-side passenger car purchase tax incentives and local consumption incentives, as well as the impact on the supply-side raw material prices, and the continuous improvement of the supply chain layout of domestic OEMs, the domestic passenger car market has returned to the upward channel. This also makes GAC Group’s third-quarter performance growth contribution more significant.

Data show that in September this year, GAC Group produced a total of 228,100 vehicles and sold 237,200 vehicles, an increase of 41.5% and 44.3% year-on-year respectively. From January to September, a total of 1.8326 million vehicles were produced and 1.825 million vehicles were sold, a year-on-year increase of 26.9% and 22.2% respectively.

At the same time, domestic auto production and sales in September this year were 2.672 million and 2.61 million, up 11.5% and 9.5% month-on-month, and 28.1% and 25.7% year-on-year.

From January to September this year, the production and sales of automobiles were 19.632 million and 19.47 million, an increase of 7.4% and 4.4% year-on-year respectively. In contrast, GAC Group’s monthly and cumulative production and sales growth rates far exceeded the industry average.

The substantial increase in the scale of production and sales combined with the increase in the market share of high-value models has effectively driven the increase in the gross profit of GAC Group. In the third quarter of this year, GAC Group’s gross profit increased significantly, up 26.8% month-on-month and 10.8% year-on-year.

During the reporting period, GAC Trumpchi, the self-owned brand of GAC Group, further strengthened its product capabilities and consolidated its competitive advantage.

In September this year, GAC Trumpchi achieved production and sales of 37,223 vehicles and 33,494 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 65.1% and 46.1%. From January to September, it produced 274,605 ​​vehicles and sold 267,374 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 32.0% and 20.9% respectively.

On October 25, the GAC Trumpchi Shadow Leopard Hybrid was officially launched. A total of 2 models were launched. The official guide price was 128,000-148,000 yuan.

In terms of appearance, the overall design of the new car is basically the same as that of the fuel version.
