The critically acclaimed indie survival horror game Darkwood is now on PS5. The game has also been updated to take full advantage of the PS5’s DualSense features, such as adaptive triggers and haptic feedback.
Dark Forest for PS5 runs at 4K resolution, taking advantage of the DualSense controller’s adaptive triggers, haptic feedback and sound effects. If you’ve already played the game on PS4, you can transfer the save to the PS5 version.
Originally released in 2017, Dark Forest is a rare survival horror game with a god-like perspective. The story takes place somewhere in the Soviet camp, where the player is trapped for an inexplicable amount of time.
Dark Forest features a day and night cycle that is deeply woven into its gameplay. During the day, players can leave their shelter to scavenge supplies and unlock new areas. At night, players will have to protect themselves from invaders and monsters.
Dark Forest has previously landed on PC (Steam, Epic), Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
