Recently, many people have come to line up to ride, setting off a strong “nostalgia” craze. In the past 13 years, these open-top double-decker buses have received more than 10 million tourists. The person in charge told reporters that due to safety and environmental considerations, 13 years is generally the service life of double-decker open-top buses. Later, according to regulations, domestic car manufacturers basically no longer produced this model, so they no longer purchased new double-decker open-top buses. In addition to Shanghai, open-top double-decker buses in other domestic cities will also be withdrawn from the market after their operating years expire. However, the capped double-decker buses will continue to drive on city streets, and more themed double-decker buses are being prepared and will be launched one after another.
