Off-White™ and Church’s have teamed up to present the third Off-White™ c/o Church’s capsule collection designed by Virgil Abloh. The new collection continues Virgil Abloh’s “Question Everything” philosophy, examining design paradigms while inheriting the artisan tradition and elegant history of the British shoe brand.
During the Frieze Art Fair in London, the Off-White™ c/o Church’s collection launched two shoes at a special launch party on 12 October. The IMAGINARY CLUB jazz night event showcases London’s diverse creative scene. The event took place at St. John’s Smith Square, which was transformed into a modern jazz club, creating a new event concept. Benji B curated the music for the evening, with performances by Yussef Dayes, CKTRL, George Riley, DJ Zakia and DJ Judah Afriyie.
Off-White™
This collection revisits two of Church’s classic shoes: the Shannon derby and the Burwood brogue. Shannon was born in 1970. The one-piece Derby shoe is refined from a whole piece of leather, and professional craftsmen apply hand stitching to the eye area. Off-White™ c/o Church’s Shannon Cut Lines add screen-printed scissor graphics and mold-marking lines to a clean, polished upper. The iconic Off-White™ leather plaque is the finishing touch.
Off-White™
The time-honored, all-engraved Burwood brogues are built for durability and are uniquely constructed to allow moisture to escape from the eyelets in wet conditions. The capsule collection’s Burwood Foam follows the traditional solid silhouette with a spongy rubber platform. The pink laces feature a clever quote, a chic Off-White™ design element.
