Previously, the vaccine was only available to women between the ages of 16 and 26. In August this year, the nine-valent HPV vaccine was approved by the National Medical Products Administration for age-expansion vaccination, which can be expanded to 9-45-year-old females.

The first 9-valent HPV vaccine in Hainan was successfully implemented in Boao United Family, thanks to the strong support of the only “medical special zone” in the country, the Lecheng Pioneer District.

In recent years, the incidence and mortality of cervical cancer in my country have been increasing year by year. The study showed that the HPV infection rate among Chinese women showed a “bimodal” distribution by age: the first peak was at 17-24 years old, and the second peak was at 40-44 years old. The HPV vaccine is highly effective in preventing infections that have not occurred. At present, United Family Healthcare has conducted more than 15,000 gynecological cancer screenings in Hebei, Sichuan, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia and Yunnan.
