Data show that in the third quarter of this year, the company’s revenue was 117.08 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 115.59%; net profit was 5.716 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 350.26%.
In general, in the first three quarters of 2022, BYD’s revenue was 267.688 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 84.37%, mainly due to the increase in the new energy vehicle business; net profit attributable to the parent was 9.311 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 281.13%.
It is understood that BYD and its subsidiaries plan to purchase lithium battery equipment from the joint-stock company Dongguan Derui Precision Equipment Co., Ltd., and the amount of related transactions is expected to not exceed 1.13 billion yuan.
The latest data shows that BYD Auto sold 201,259 vehicles in September, a year-on-year increase of 151.2%, of which 7,736 passenger cars were exported. In terms of specific models, the Han family sold 31,497 vehicles in September, and the cumulative sales exceeded 330,000; the “new species” Dolphin sold 24,956 vehicles in September; Qin PLUS sold 36,058 vehicles in September, and the cumulative sales exceeded 400,000. Overall, the cumulative sales this year was 1,180,054 units, a year-on-year increase of 249.56%.
