The oldest of these is a Renaissance pendant made by German court craftsmen around 1600, made of gold and diamonds. Before the discovery of the first diamond “Eureka” in the history of South Africa in 1867, only a small amount of diamonds came from Brazil and India, and it was the most expensive item in the world at that time. And this ancient pendant is made of high-quality diamonds, combined with finely crafted gold craftsmanship, and then applied with colorful enamels, showing superb artistic attainments. What is even more rare is that it has been perfectly preserved to this day and has become a CIIE. One of the oldest exhibits.

Three emerald gems are also eye-catching. One of the emerald tiaras once inherited from the German royal family, together with the other five crowns from the royal families of France, Spain, Denmark and Austria, will make the exhibition hall of the CIIE shine.

Another emerald weighing 200 carats, from the ancient Mughal Empire in India, was designed as a brooch in the early 20th century by Coco Chanel’s fiancé and genius artist Paul Iribe, a landmark work in jewelry art . There is also a Colombian emerald weighing 65 carats, carved into the mysterious face of Medusa, known as the “Mona Lisa of gems”.

The Paper learned from V MUSE that the most important part of the exhibits at the CIIE is the French national treasure “Golden Leaf”, which comes from the golden laurel crown of Napoleon I. It is famous for being worn when Napoleon was crowned emperor in 1804. . As the crown of the founding emperor of the Bonaparte Dynasty in France, the “Golden Leaf” craftsmanship is extremely exquisite. Each lifelike pure gold leaf is as light as a feather, stretched like a plant, and its texture is as complex and delicate as hair.

Fan Xiaoguang, co-founder of V MUSE, revealed that only two “golden leaves” are known to have been handed down, one is hidden in the Palace of Fontainebleau, France, and the other will appear at the site of this CIIE, allowing the audience to witness the history with their own eyes.

Also not to be missed on this CIIE trip is a 34-carat, the world’s largest portrait diamond, which once witnessed the love of Tsar Alexander I. Another sapphire weighing 31 carats is the same brooch of the former Queen Elizabeth II, which was used as a wedding gift for the Archduchess of Austria a hundred years ago. There is also a mysterious Golden Fleece medal made of diamonds, rubies and sapphires.

Fan Xiaoguang said that V MUSE has long hoped to participate in the CIIE, and has been planning and preparing for it. The most direct driving force comes from the attractiveness of the CIIE itself.

“For exhibitors, the CIIE allows us to reflect our own value and give us the opportunity to pass on our corporate culture and vision. China’s domestic jewelry market is full of great opportunities. With the advancement of Chinese-style modernization, the people The yearning for a better life will continue to be realized, and people’s living standards will continue to improve, which will inevitably be reflected in social and market demands, including consumer goods and jewelry,” Fan Xiaoguang believes. A high-level market; culturally speaking, gems have a slow life, and jewelry is a medium that exchanges information at all times, carries people’s emotions, and shapes a way of life.
