Data show that in the first three quarters of 2022, China Unicom’s operating income reached RMB 263.98 billion, an increase of 8.0% over the same period last year, and its main business income reached RMB 239.65 billion, an increase of 7.8% over the same period last year. Net profit attributable to the parent company was RMB 6.83 billion, an increase of 20.4% over the same period last year. EBITDA was RMB 76.59 billion, an increase of 1.9% over the same period last year.

In terms of product innovation, since the beginning of this year, China Unicom has seen a more significant transition of new and old kinetic energy, innovative businesses represented by the Industrial Internet have flourished, and the new value of enterprises in the new era has accelerated. In the first three quarters, the company’s industrial Internet business achieved revenue of RMB 53.15 billion, a significant increase of 29.9% year-on-year, accounting for 22.2% of the main business revenue, and the revenue structure continued to be optimized. Focus on key areas such as Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Chengdu-Chongqing, Shandong-Henan-Shaanxi, improve computing power service quality and utilization efficiency, continue to enrich cloud product categories, and serve the construction of digital government cloud in many places and the digital transformation of central enterprises , China Unicom Cloud accelerated its development, achieving revenue of RMB 26.87 billion, a year-on-year increase of 142%; IDC achieved revenue of RMB 18.61 billion, a year-on-year increase of 12.9%.
