A few days ago, the first product of the 8AT automatic transmission project of Anhui Fuzhen Automobile Power System Co., Ltd. officially rolled off the production line. At the same time, Chery New Energy New Energy DHT gearbox production base project started. Among them, Chery’s first mass-produced model equipped with 8AT will be launched in the first quarter of 2023. It is reported that many models of Chery have started loading tests before.
The Fuzhen 8AT automatic transmission project is located in Fanchang Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering an area of about 150 mu, with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan and an annual output of 300,000 units. This gearbox has complete intellectual property rights, and it matches the Chery Automobile brand, Starway Automobile brand, and Jietu Automobile brand, covering SUV and sedan models. The first mass-produced model will be launched in the first quarter of 2023.
The total investment of the DHT production base for new energy vehicles of Chery Eco Power System is 3 billion yuan, and the new DHT production line for new energy vehicles will be built with an annual output of 450,000 units.
