Burmese macadamias are emerging in the international market

According to the Myanmar Vegetables, Fruits and Flowers Planters and Sellers Association, at the Paris International Food Exhibition in France, among the 6 kinds of fruits and vegetables that Myanmar participated in, the macadamia nuts produced in Myanmar attracted attention.

From October 15th to 19th, at the SIAL Paris Inspire Food Business exhibition held in France, Myanmar’s exhibiting categories include: avocado, mango, konjac, macadamia, pineapple and chili pepper, among which macadamia is the most concerned.

A person in charge of the exhibition said that the macadamia nuts produced in Myanmar are of high quality and low price, and they are now vigorously expanding the international market. At present, the main exports are to Thailand and Cambodia, but the Chinese market is what we most hope to open.

The person in charge said that the macadamia nuts produced in Myanmar have high nutritional value and medicinal value, are extremely beneficial to the body and can resist aging, so they are very popular among women.
