Artificial Intelligence in Information Classrooms in Primary Schools

Artificial intelligence technology is more and more widely used around us. For students in rural schools, due to different environments, they will have fewer opportunities to come into contact with artificial intelligence technology. Letting students have a better understanding of artificial intelligence and enriching students’ knowledge has become what we want to do now.
1. Learning “artificial intelligence” knowledge with students
Most of the students are familiar with the term “artificial intelligence”. When I mentioned this term, they seemed to know a lot, but after in-depth exploration, they found that they did not understand it. According to this situation, we will learn the theoretical knowledge with the students through the collected artificial intelligence related materials. Through this study, students know and understand the concept of artificial intelligence.
2. Artificial Intelligence Technology in the Classroom
In order to let students better understand what artificial intelligence is, we have introduced several related artificial intelligence applications in the classroom after discussion and experimentation, hoping to impress students through personal experience. We really know that artificial intelligence has always existed around us, from simple to advanced, and we can get different degrees of experience from vision, hearing, touch and other aspects.
1. Fingerprint identification technology
The application of fingerprint identification is relatively extensive in life, and students have seen it more, but they have never seen it in the information technology class. There are several sections on artificial intelligence knowledge in the new course content. I believe the effect will be better if theory is combined with practice. Under limited conditions, we installed a fingerprint lock. During the process of unlocking through fingerprint recognition, students feel that the current artificial intelligence technology is actually applied in our lives and brings us a lot of convenience. At the same time, the experience in this way can also stimulate students’ interest in learning and mobilize their enthusiasm for taking information technology classes.
2. Speech and text recognition technology
Primary school information technology classrooms are actually full of practicality and operability. Most of the time in the classroom, we need to collect some texts, pictures and other materials through various search engines such as Baidu. Slow, to save searching time in class, we use voice input recognition technology to type.
Through practical application cases, students can compare and evaluate “keyboard input” and “speech input” and “text recognition”, establish a certain understanding of the development of “input”, and fully feel the convenience of artificial intelligence technology.
3. VR video technology
Higher dimensions allow us to receive more information. In the primary school information technology classroom, we need to use some video materials. When preparing these materials, we can properly use the VR video in artificial intelligence to apply to the import, demonstration and other links. Of course, these need to be prepared accordingly. hardware.
For example, the connection of various network devices in Lesson 3 “Computer Network” of the second volume of the fifth grade forms a computer network and virus hazards in Lesson 4 “Computer Security”. Ordinary videos about network and security are not vivid enough, and students seem rather boring tedious. With the introduction of VR video import, different visual effects can make students experience more deeply. The structure of the network is vivid, and the meaning of security is thought-provoking. It is more realistic than ordinary videos, allowing students to feel the real scene as if they were on the scene, so as to gain a sense of immersion and make the classroom “live”.
3. Significance of artificial intelligence learning
After the experience of the above projects, the students have a certain understanding of artificial intelligence technology. In fact, artificial intelligence technology is far more than that, and our applications are just the first experience. We also need to work with students to learn about more advanced and smarter technological materials, discuss the benefits of new technology applications, and at the same time ask students to express their views on these technologies and ask thought-provoking questions in a timely manner.
